I wonder how much geographical location effects the attitudes of people? You always hear of southern hospitality, small town charm and what not, I wonder if there is some truth to this? I went to school in a small town, and as a whole the community was a lot more appreciative and grateful for what they had.

Idk how or why it effects people but there is a definitely different attitudes in people in different regions. I am from a smaller farming town of Connecticut, but now go to school in Mass. People back home were def. much different they gave half a shit about other people, and its just like the little things too. Back home everyone held doors for you and stuff like that, if that happens in mass its a victory lol. Another thing I noticed is the girls here are kinda bitchy and expect a lot out of you. Theres just a change from "the country" to the city.

It's true. Even within the same state you run into different types of people. Let's say, I dunno... Georgia for example. A tourist might come back with stories about the homey southern hospitality or tales of the state full of redneck fuckwits depending on which route he took.

Getting back on topic though, I was thinking of proposing a new law. "Finish what you start!" Normally I follow the law with a definition but as we are a collective I thought, if it passes, that we should decide upon a definitive definition for it. Thanks to our new brethren we have the site fully functional (albiet a minor glitch now and then) and it's time to start chiseling these into digital stone!

I find it ironic that you propose a law of finishing what you start, but fail to follow with a definition of the law.

I tend to agree on the small town-big town theory, but with a twist. The larger populations tend to have more town idiots and they tend to run in packs. Plus the whole anonymity thing tends to make people less inclined to help one another.
