I wonder how much geographical location effects the attitudes of people? You always hear of southern hospitality, small town charm and what not, I wonder if there is some truth to this? I went to school in a small town, and as a whole the community was a lot more appreciative and grateful for what they had.

It's true. Even within the same state you run into different types of people. Let's say, I dunno... Georgia for example. A tourist might come back with stories about the homey southern hospitality or tales of the state full of redneck fuckwits depending on which route he took.
Getting back on topic though, I was thinking of proposing a new law. "Finish what you start!" Normally I follow the law with a definition but as we are a collective I thought, if it passes, that we should decide upon a definitive definition for it. Thanks to our new brethren we have the site fully functional (albiet a minor glitch now and then) and it's time to start chiseling these into digital stone!

I tend to agree on the small town-big town theory, but with a twist. The larger populations tend to have more town idiots and they tend to run in packs. Plus the whole anonymity thing tends to make people less inclined to help one another.
