I like snakes but much like spiders I don't really consider them to be pets. Kinda like, furniture you have to feed every so often. They never get happy to see you, they don't like playing with you etc. They just sit in their terrariums and eat now and then. They are gorgeous though! How much does that albino weigh?

Sweet! She must've been pretty young in that pic. I had a buddy named Seamus who had a ball python. I had to go over and feed it because he was too much of a coward to go near him when he's hungry! I don't know why, it seemed the rat was getting the worst of it!

See, its folks like that who get a snake on a whim, dont do their homework, and then are either to scared to care for it properly, or just let it die. Or, they get something and its grows and then thay let it go...hence part of the problem in florida. I have been in the reptile business going on 10 yrs and still to this day I will refuse sale of potentially dangerous animals to those who aren't up to the task of properly caring for them.
Yeah, actually my best friend and business partner is really into retics and ball pythons..I am more into Boa Constrictors...well..any Boa....and IU see things going good in the Blood Python market as well. |
