Default My Carburator Shoots Flames! (pictures of your helmets)

I am proud of my helmet collection. I have motorcycle helmets, dirtbike helmets, a BMX/Down-Hill helmet and a regular mountain bike/cycling helmet. These wonders of styrofoam and plastic do more than just protect my dome, they look good doing it. They also serve a hidden purpose... they give me something to photograph when I am bored.

I will start this thread with some pictures of my primary dirtbike/motocross helmet - more pictures and helmets will follow. I hope to see some of the lids you trust your brain guts with! I know that there are at least a few other members that ride bicycles, motorcycles, dirtbikes or participate in motorsports that require a helmet (autocross, trackdays, cart racing ). You know who you are.

Actually no, that was a very limited Doug Henry replica helmet from the 2003 season. I haven't seen another one anywhere, but they were available in small numbers.

This is true, and if it weren't such a sweet design I would have cared about that. Then again, don't blame the man, blame the company that pioneered and pushed for it (Yamaha).

I bought it from a girl named Brandi for $100. She had worn it one time and decided she didn't like riding. My helmet bag still says Brandi on it.
