This is an easy way to cut back on energy consumption. Go to Blackle.com instead of Google or Yahoo. It is powered by Google, the only difference is that the screen is black. Black screens require less energy than white, so you save a little every time you use it.

No, I am an Environmental Science major and one of the easiest ways to protect the environment is to reduce the amount of energy we use each day. Not only does using less electricity, gas, or heating help the environment, but it saves you money. Although I agree with the principle that Blackle is made for. It just dosn't work as well as I wish it would in terms of saving energy.

hi all,

I think blackle.com has nothing much to do with power. but i found o4on.com better than blackle.com. Its so easy to use. a query to o4on and any search engine of our choice with the result. this will surely reduce global power consumption. visitors dont have to take each sites for their queries....
