Has anyone ever seen something while at a store, or run into someone else's bright idea, and say "I can make that better"?

I do this daily looking at companies.
it's my bread and butter. While not so much on the engineering stand point, still I do it a lot.

Very cool improvments to the dog shower!

I do it all the time when I'm walking through Gander Mountain, Scheels, etc. For example, they sell a "Fishing Bucket" for $50. A five gallon pail, with a seat on top, and rod holders with tackle pockets attached. I'm always looking at stuff like that in awe, how they can market something made so cheap, and sell it for a ridiculous price. I think to myself, "No thank you, I'll make my own. Thanks for the idea though." We just made rod holders for catfishing. The $1.99 holders at Gander just don't cut it. Some 1" conduit, 2' metal stakes, a little welding, and bam! Just made their crap better. lol

Gets too expensive at the Dog Wash. Especially a hunting dog. He's always trying to find some dead animal to roll around in for cover scent.

How to make companies better? As soon as I start my own, I'll look ya up.

I can help you start your own as well :)

For my dog and cats we always took them in the tub. Never had a hunting dog though so no worries of dead things lol.
